At Selfguard Automation and Controls, we manufacture Automatic Changeover Switches for automatic transfer of load between mains and generator supply. Our Single Phase Automatic Changeover Switch (CSNF) and Three Phase Automatic Changeover Switch (CTF) are designed to automatically transfer the load from mains to generator and from generator to mains.

What Happens During a Power Failure?

When the main supply is absent and the generator starts, our Automatic Changeover Switch automatically shifts the load to the generator side.

For our Single Phase Automatic Changeover Switch (CSNF), the unit is installed between a Single Phase Mains Supply and a Single-Phase Generator. During the absence of the Main Supply, the unit automatically shifts the load to the Generator side.

Our Three Phase Automatic Changeover Switch (CTF) is installed between a Three Phase Mains Supply and a Single Phase Generator or Three Phase Generator. When the Main Supply is absent and the Generator starts, the unit automatically shifts the load to the Generator side.

What Happens When the Main Supply Returns?

After the Main Supply is present again, our Automatic Changeover Switch shifts the load from the Generator to Mains without any delay.

At the same time, the Generator runs on No Load Condition. This automatic transfer from Generator to Mains is a feature specified for both our CSNF Single Phase Automatic Changeover Switch and CTF Three Phase Automatic Changeover Switch.

Selfguard Single Phase Automatic Changeover Switch

Our Single Phase Automatic Changeover Switch (CSNF) transfers the load automatically from mains to generator and from generator to mains.

The unit is installed between Single Phase Mains Supply and Single-Phase Generator. It is available in the following ratings:

  • 40 Amps
  • 63 Amps
  • 100 Amps
  • 150 Amps
  • 200 Amps

The selection of the Changeover is done according to the load of the Main Supply.

Selfguard Three Phase Automatic Changeover Switch

Our Three Phase Automatic Changeover Switch (CTF) transfers the load automatically from mains to generator and from generator to mains.

The unit is installed between Three Phase Mains Supply and Single Phase Generator or Three Phase Generator.

The CTF is applicable for Three Phase Main Supply and Single Phase Load only, such as:

  • Lights
  • Fans
  • Single Phase AC
  • Single Phase Motors

The CTF is available from 63 Amps to 200 Amps, and the selection of the Changeover is done according to the load of the Main Supply.

Automatic Changeover from Mains to Generator and Back

The working process of our Automatic Changeover Switch can be described in two steps:

Absence of Main Supply:
When the Main Supply is absent and the Generator starts, the Automatic Changeover Switch automatically shifts the load to the Generator side.

Presence of Main Supply:
When the Main Supply is present again, the unit shifts the load from Generator to Mains without any delay, and the Generator runs on No Load Condition.

Our Automatic Changeover Switch Range

At Selfguard Automation and Controls, we offer Automatic Changeover Switches in different ratings according to the load of the Main Supply.

The CSNF Single Phase Automatic Changeover Switch is available from 40 Amps to 200 Amps, while the CTF Three Phase Automatic Changeover Switch is available from 63 Amps to 200 Amps.

Selfguard Automation and Controls was established in 1990 and is engaged in the manufacturing of Electrical and Electronic Products related with Mains, Generator and Agricultural Automation. We use Micro Controller Technology, and our aim is to produce Quality Products as per Customer requirement.

Conclusion

Our Automatic Changeover Switches automatically transfer the load from mains to generator during the absence of Main Supply and transfer the load back from Generator to Mains when the Main Supply is present.

With our CSNF Single Phase Automatic Changeover Switch and CTF Three Phase Automatic Changeover Switch, Selfguard provides Automatic Changeover solutions in different current ratings according to the load of the Main Supply.
